ABOUT A TALL ORDER
A Tall Order Dance Entertainment Suzie Hardt and Tall Marsden are 4 times and current United States Amateur Senior 1 ten dance ballroom and Latin champions, representing the United States at the World Championships in Mallorca, Spain in 2010, in Toronto, Canada in 2011, and and in Antwerp, Belgium in 2013. The 6’8” and 6’ tall coupl performed 10 original pieces with Grammy Award winning composer and conductor Victor Vanacore and the St. Louis Symphony in his "Swing, Swing, Swing" program, for which received a standing ovation. They were swing dancers in the PBS swing documentary, "Big Band Magic" and were featured Latin dancers in pianist composer Faranak's music video "Spanish Lover." NBC flew them to New York to perform as ballroom dancers with their comedy tango routine “The Chickentango”, which appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Season 8.
Todd and Suzie perform regularly for diverse audiences around the Bay Area and are known for their entertaining dance style, glamorous costumes, versatility, and innovative choreography.They have performed for audiences from Davis to Monterey and down the steps of San Francisco City Hall, dancing for audiences from 2 to 2,000. Satisfied corporate clients include Google +, Kaiser, Intuit, Mercury, Intuit, the New Century Orchestra, St. Supery Winery, Robert Mondavi Winery, Harrah Casino, the California Institute of Science, and the de Jung Museum. They perform often for local theaters and nonprofit fundraisers. Local stage performances include the Masquers Theater, the Marin Theater Company, Pier 39 Theater and San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

A Tall Order performs Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers style dances, as well as partner dances from a wide variety of time periods and Dancing with the Stars style dances. They have shows to entertain from 20’s style flapper/Charleston, 30’s Lindy Hop, 40’s Hollywood, 50’s Rock n Roll, Elvis & Marilyn, 60’s Hippy/soldier romance, 70’s Disco, to 80’s Cyndi Lauper. They perfom all partner dances, including waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, Viennese Waltz, salsa, merenge, chacha, rumba, samba, paso doble, jive, swing, Lindy Hop, jitterbug, rock and roll,and disco.
In the ballroom community, Todd and Suzie are known best for their comedic dance performances, "The Successful Courtship of Henrietta Fowell (their ChickenTango), their Frankenrumba, and Elvis’ "All Shook Up" . With A Tall Order, audiences expect the unexpected, as Todd and Suzie sing, mix dance styles, or battle it out as Spiderman and the evil thug Long Arms.
A Tall Order also offers shows with multiple ballroom couples and dance groups of other dance styles. They recently coproduced an international themed dance show for Google + at the San Francisco Design Center featuring 10 group pieces from Around the World with 35 dancers ranging from Ballet Folklorico to Bollywood.
